The Omega Morgan 350-ton crane slides a modular classroom into place with the guidance of the crane crew.

Omega Morgan’s Seattle crane services teams stepped up to support the Yelm School District when they needed to rig and lift two modular classrooms into place at Millpond Elementary School. The school’s growing population required additional classroom space for staff and students; after hiring a building company to construct and stage the units, they needed a world-class cane company to lift and guide the units into place for final installation. Omega Morgan’s crews were more than happy to lend their expertise and experience to the job.

SAFE AND EFFICIENT CRANE SERVICES FROM THE EXPERTS

After performing a few site walks and creating a plan in partnership with the building company, our crews arrived to place the two 15’ wide, 64’ long, and 12’ tall units, weighing in at 20,000 lbs each. Careful measurements were critical at this stage—if the modular classrooms were placed too far away, our crane would not be able to access the site, and our crews would not be able to lift them for the move.

OMEGA MORGAN: A WORLD-CLASS CRANE COMPANY

Using our 350-ton Grove crane, our crane services crews safely rigged them and guided them into their final locations at Millpond Elementary School. Both the building company and the Yelm School District were pleased with the safe and efficient work of Omega Morgan’s expert crane services team.
