  • Description Omega Morgan successfully received permits to move 20 oversized condensate vessels through Alberta. Our skilled team engineered, designed and fabricated a custom tailing frame to assist with transport and limited space for crane at the project site. The tanks were received from two fabricators, transported, rigged and set to pad using an in-house engineered lift plan. For the duration of the eight-week project, 4 rigging crews and superintendents assisted with the offloading of all 20 tanks and all on-site crane work. (20) Condensate vessels: 70,000lbs; 55′ 11.5″ L x 27′ 3″ W x 28′ 11″ H

  • Description Received (3) vessels to barge in Vancouver, WA, off-loaded from the barge in Umatilla, Oregon, and then transported over-the-road to the Dover Oil Sands project in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Created new high-wide route through Oregon and Idaho. Proved to both states that we can transport over-dimensional loads safely and without environmental impact on this route. (3) Vessels: 16′ diameter; 96′ long; and 350,000lbs. GVW: 940,000lbs. Overall Vehicle Length: 385′. Overall Vehicle Width: 22′. Overall Vehicle Height: 19′

  • Description Transportation from Port of Vancouver to LNG facility in Hillsboro, OR. Engineered and supervised the two-crane pick from the vessel to Omega Morgan equipment. Cold Box weighed 302,000 lbs. Its dimensions were 127′L x 11′7″W x 11′7″H.

  • Description Move new Skagit River north bridge span into place over 12-hour period. Replace temporary two sections of the north span with 915-ton permanent bridge span sections. The sections were 160′ X 30′ and approx. 450,000lbs each. The sections were moved in unison with six skid beams up river on steel rails for 76′ then set on to the existing column.
The Omega Morgan guys are excellent to work with and we engage them for around six to eight projects a year. They are proactive on the job site and are great problem solvers. But I think their biggest asset has been their willingness to upgrade their equipment. This allows them to deliver projects in a real, timely fashion. I think they do that better than anybody else in the industry. Oh yeah, did I say they’re always on budget? I shouldn’t leave that out.
