Machinery Moving Excellence For Any Space

Omega Morgan’s machinery moving team in Dallas executed a quick turnaround for a battery energy storage company in Texas. The customer needed support receiving and preparing their production line equipment for final installation. Due to shipping delays, the project schedule was expedited, but our team assembled a crew quickly, remained flexible, and made adjustments to maintain our pace and successfully complete the move.
Solutions For Heavy Equipment Moving
To help our customer keep to their project timeline, we quickly assembled a crew of 21 machinery moving pros. Over a nine week period, our crew provided diligent support receiving, inspecting, uncrating, removing waste, and transferring and rough-setting our customer’s production line equipment for final installation.
Within this task, our customer also needed help managing the assembly and installation of an extremely heavy, multi-level piece of equipment in a tight space inside their facility. Each piece of equipment weighed 14,000 pounds and needed to be stacked precisely. When assembled, the equipment would reach 32 feet in height. Given the overhead obstructions, limited load capacities, large equipment dimensions, and tight operating space (at times just two inches between the crane and ceiling), traditional methods for lifting and moving were not an option. Instead, our crew of machinery moving experts needed to devise a unique solution.
They swiftly did so, utilizing the small footprint of a compact 75-ton truck crane to sequentially lift and set each piece of equipment and using custom rigging to ensure exact placement.
Machinery Moving That Delivers
All in all, our crews worked on 16 truckloads per day, received 315 containers, and uncrated and set over 500 pieces of equipment. Our customer was pleased with the quick turnaround and exceptional results of the project, commending our team’s hard work, attention to safety, and ability to act quickly and remain flexible.
