Oregon-based Morgan Industrial, an industrial contractor specializing in huge moving projects, has changed its name to Omega Morgan.
Known by various names throughout its 20-year history, the company recently consolidated several separate companies under the Omega Morgan name.
With headquarters Hillsboro, Ore., and offices in Fife, the company offers specialized heavy rigging and transportation; machinery moving, crafting and packaging; and process equipment moves.
According to a press release, the company has been expanding, with a focus on energy, technology and aerospace customers. It is looking to hire foremen and experienced Class A licensed drivers.
Most of the company’s 275 employees are involved in huge moving projects, like packing up and moving entire companies, or transporting airplane parts for aeronautics manufacturers.
Omega Morgan’s specialty built trucks can be seen hauling huge turbines and transformers for hydropower companies, and substations for electrical power companies.
Omega Morgan also handles smaller moves, such as lifting a 500-pound safe up the side of a building and through a window into a luxury condo.
